Business leaders in every sector and vertical are under immense pressure to increase revenue and grow their businesses in an uncertain economy. It’s no longer enough, however, to pursue that growth at any cost; executives must reckon with the environmental and social impacts of their businesses.
At ZoomInfo, we’re constantly looking for ways to not only drive strong revenue growth, but to do so in a sustainable way that benefits our company, our communities, our employees, and the world around us.
To quantify the extent of those efforts, we’ve published our annual Sustainability Report. This report outlines the various initiatives ZoomInfo has embarked upon during the past year, including information on our social impact, environmental footprint, employee career mobility, and more.
Reducing Our Carbon Footprint
With 12 offices in five countries, ZoomInfo is committed to reducing our carbon footprint, and over the past year we have taken additional steps to minimize the environmental impact of our physical locations.
In 2023, ZoomInfo retired 1,500 verified emission credits, significantly reducing the environmental impact of our operations. In addition, we have implemented more stringent criteria when evaluating decisions about new facilities to ensure our carbon footprint is as light as possible.
Today, 61% of ZoomInfo’s leased properties are carbon-neutral, as are 92% of the cloud computing services ZoomInfo relies upon.
Improving Governance
Responsible governance is central to how we operate as a business, and we are constantly examining the ways we work to create a more equitable, inclusive company.
Last year, ZoomInfo introduced new evaluative criteria for Board of Directors candidates to encourage greater diversity in our Board representation. Several new Employee Resource Groups were established, including a group to support our Israeli colleagues on active duty as well as veterans of the Armed Forces.
As a data-driven business, ZoomInfo places privacy and data security above all else. Last year, ZoomInfo’s Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) & Assurance team developed our Risk Appetite Statement, refined ZoomInfo’s Risk Universe, and worked with internal risk owners to develop detailed risk assessments and provide ongoing support.
We also launched our brand-new Trust Center to offer a superior experience to customers seeking to learn more about our specific privacy and security policies.
Ongoing Social Impact
ZoomInfo doesn’t just strive to be the world’s leading go-to-market platform and a great place to work — we also seek to maximize the social benefit of our success within our communities.
In 2023, ZoomInfo employees donated more than $1.6 million to charitable causes. In addition, we established the ZoomInfo Foundation to take our corporate philanthropy to the next level, and we look forward to seeing the impact of that giving in the future.
Last year also saw ZoomInfo proudly join companies such as Apple, Autodesk, Cisco, and more in signing the California Equal Pay Pledge. This promise publicly reaffirms ZoomInfo’s commitment to pay equity, and we’re excited to champion this and other important causes throughout the coming year.
Building the Future, Together
The publication of our annual Sustainability Report is an exciting time to see the impacts our company is having beyond helping our customers achieve bold, lasting growth.
We’re proud of the achievements we’ve accomplished during the past 12 months, but complacency is not a value at ZoomInfo. We’re dedicated to making even greater improvements in the coming year, and we can’t wait to share the results with you.
